As part of its drive for gas optimisation and the previous success of CJC Biogas Filters at Camberley, Aylesbury, Bishop's Stortford and Reading STW's in protecting its CHP engines against damage from siloxanes in the biogas fuel, Thames Water has chosen C C Jensen Ltd to supply CJC Biogas Filters to a further six STW's and increase the existing biogas filter capacity at their Long Reach STW in Dartford. CJC Biogas Filters have been specified for Basingstoke, Bracknell, Swindon, East Hyde and Slough STW's whilst the existing CJC VOC41/200AB Biogas Filters at Long Reach STW are being transferred to Rye Meads STW and replaced with larger CJC VOC107/200AB Biogas Filters.

The CJC Biogas Filter System offers cost-effective and continuous engine protection with minimal intrusion to site operations and routine by employing filter exchange, off-site servicing and EA approved regeneration/disposal of used filter medium.
