We are running a Biogas Seminar and Study Tour to a recently commissioned 2MW Anaerobic Digestion (AD) Biogas plant based in Nottinghamshire on the 4th May 2011. The Base Feedstocks are energy crops grown locally. This energy crop Biogas plant is based at a water and sewage treatment works. The Seminar sessions will cover biogas produced from AD energy crops and also from waste water/sewage.
The plant uses maize grown locally to power 2 x 1MW Jenbacher CHP (Combined Heat & Power) Gas Engines running 24/7.
The site is a good example of energy crop AD Biogas and is an interesting case study. The plant owners and operatos will be at the seminar and plant tour to answer your questions.
The aim of the Seminar and plant tour is to give a case study as well as background information about the site. The seminar will also inform attendees of the latest technical and legislative situations regarding AD Biogas in the UK.
